Optional Instructional Services

Calvert offers instructional services to support you, the Learning Guide, and your student throughout the school year. Our Advisory Teaching Service (ATS) and Comprehensive Teaching Service (CTS)1 are designed to lead to a more successful educational experience.

Learning Team

When enrolled in the service, a Learning Team is created and continuously supported from start to finish.


Roles and Responsibilities

As a Learning Guide, you are a critical part of the learning team. You are responsible for implementing the day to day lessons at home with your student. Here is how much time you can expect to support your student on a daily basis:


Calvert provides you and your student with the following:

                Service ATS and CTS
i-Ready Diagnostic Placement Testing
Certified teacher who grades student assessments in a timely fashion
Instructional, individualized feedback on each assessment
Communication within CTN with the teacher (asynchronous)
Ability to run reports for attendance, progress, and performance
